Permanent position of senior researcher in economics, management science or system-oriented agronomic sciences

InTerACT research unit, UniLaSalle, France

Mission

Part 1 and 2 (research and supervision) 80%

• Design, development and management of research projects and chairs
• Scientific animation of the InTerACT unit
• Scientific supervision (direction and co-direction of PhD theses)
• Outreach of the unit through scientific production, participation in academic/professional networks and in setting up events.

Part 3 (lecturing) 20%

• Design and development of specific teaching units related to research topics, in the scope of the competence of the candidate (about 60-100 hours)

Profile

• You hold an accreditation (i.e. Habilitation to Direct Research “HDR”) in economics, management science or system-oriented agronomic sciences, or equivalency in terms of H index.
• Your scientific project has a strong systemic and interdisciplinary orientation, centered on the issues of sustainable transition, sustainable territory, innovation system.
• Experiences in managing research projects and teams of researchers.
• Experiences in scientific management (PhD and MR students)
• Experience in relation with the professional world (companies, professional bodies, local authorities…).
• Thematic orientations: life, earth and environmental sciences, agriculture, agro-industry, sustainable development, innovation, bioeconomy, agricultural and rural territories, applied social sciences.
• Fluent in English and French

InTerACT unit research

InTerACT research unit, which has 34 permanent members and 6 doctoral students, is developing an original scientific project for the transition of sociotechnical systems towards sustainability by mobilizing interdisciplinarity: human and social sciences, agricultural systems sciences, technologies. Collaborations with the academic and professional worlds are reflected in multiple projects and 8 endowed chairs, and participation in academic networks.

The research unit is now recruiting a senior researcher (research director). The challenges of this positions are:

• to contribute to designing, in collaboration with the unit director and the members, the scientific project
• to develop new research activities, in connection with regional, national and European call for projects
• to participate in the animation and the international influence of the unit
• to ensure the supervision and co-supervision of doctoral theses linked to projects and chairs.
• to participate in educational activities related to the area of expertise.

Institut Polytechnique UniLaSalle
